Established as a Not For Profit in February 2021, Mens Talk was founded by a unique group with different lived experiences who share a common goal.
Mens Talk is passionate about the inclusion of the mind and healthy mental habits as a vital part of overall, holistic wellbeing. We are seeking to challenge and influence current structures, systems and how they operate. We want people to understand and command their own wellness journey. We want to stop people from falling in, whilst also teaching others how to swim. Just like in sports rehabiliation, Mens Talk recognises the value of a pre-habilitation approach to overall wellness.
At Mens Talk, we envision a world where everyone communicates openly about their mental and emotional health every day, free from stigma and judgment. We aim to normalise conversations about mental health, making them as essential as discussions about physical health. Our vision promotes a holistic approach to wellness, integrating mental, emotional, and physical health into daily life.
We are committed to educating and empowering individuals, providing resources that foster open dialogue, and advocating for systemic changes that support inclusivity and eradicate stigma. By working together, we strive to weave mental health into the fabric of society, creating a more connected and compassionate world.
Mens Talk is dedicated to transforming the conversation around wellness and masculinity, making it mainstream, accessible, and inclusive for all who identify as male. We challenge outdated stereotypes and promote a supportive environment where men can share both vulnerabilities and strengths.
Our mission involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders—from local groups to national charities—to broaden our reach and deepen our impact. Through workshops, public engagements, and media collaborations, we advocate for a holistic understanding of masculinity, emphasizing emotional intelligence and mental resilience.
Ultimately, Mens Talk strives to redefine masculinity and wellness, fostering a culture where every man feels validated and supported on their path to a healthier, more fulfilling life.

I had always been interested in men’s mental wellbeing and the prevention of male suicide, especially after losing a family member and two close friends in a two-year period.
